Jellyfish Report
Report jellyfish sightings anywhere on the Croatian coast and read the current seasonal advisory.
Current seasonal status
High — peak swimming season- Pelagia noctiluca (mauve stinger) — most common summer species, mild sting.
- Rhizostoma pulmo (barrel jellyfish) — large, harmless but visually striking.
- Cotylorhiza tuberculata (fried-egg jellyfish) — harmless, common late summer.
If stung: rinse with sea water (not fresh), remove tentacles with a card, and apply vinegar. Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen.
